    This week Prof. Buzek will pay an official visit to Uruguay and Argentina. The President will start his trip to South America from Montevideo where he will meet with the President of Uruguay - José Mijica and with the leaders of two Chambers of the Parliament. Agenda of Prof. Jerzy Buzek 23 -29.01.2012

After the end of his Term of Office as President of the European Parliament, prof. Jerzy Buzek returns to work in parliamentary committees. During the next 2,5 years he will be participating in the Committee of Foreign Affairs (AFET) and Committee of Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE).
This week he will take part in meetings of these two committees and will meet with the new President of the EP - Martin Schulz. On Wednesday, Prof. Buzek will deliver a speech at the Holocaust Remembrance Day event which will take place in the European Parliament and will take part in New Year's Dinner of the Polish EPP Delegation. The end of the week Prof. Buzek will spend on constituency meetings.

Agenda of Prof. Jerzy Buzek 9-15.01. 2012

The beginning of next week, Prof. Jerzy Buzek will spend in Brussels. On Tuesday he will meet with representatives of the European Climate Foundation and participate in Conference of Presidents. On the same day, the President will meet with Dacian Cioloş, Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development and take part in Bureau Meeting. On next day, Prof. Jerzy Buzek will chat with citizens on Facebook and then will fly to Copenhagen where he will participate in the official opening ceremony of the Danish Presidency. On Thursday Prof. Buzek will take part in the Conference of Presidents and deliver a speech at the conference on the summary of the Polish Presidency organised by the ThinkThank platform. On Friday, Prof. Buzek will participate in the press conference on the end of his term as President of the European Parliament.

On Thursday, the President will meet with leaderships of the Argentinean Parliament - Argentina's Vice President and Speaker of the Senate -Amado Boudou and Julian Dominguez - President of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies. Coming back to Poland, prof. Buzek will spend Christmas holiday in Silesia.
